Job Description

Background 

At Axis New Business Audio Products, we develop audio products for security, such as horn-, ceiling- and cabinet- speakers driven by Power over Ethernet (PoE). The portfolio is today mostly focused on speech and therefore mainly developed for middle range frequencies. In order to improve the musical experience that our portfolio provides we would like to investigate how subwoofers, low frequency bass, would fit in.  

 

Goal 

Depending on what background you or, you and your partner, have this thesis can be done in a few different ways.  On top of evaluating how a subwoofer would fit into our product portfolio; The thesis can look at speaker enclosure design, investigate subwoofer speaker drivers and/or electrical components and schematic design, etc.

Audio/acoustics  

Electronics 

Mechanics 

 

Educational background 

Master’s student in Electrical engineering, Engineering physics, Mechanical engineering, Acoustics engineering or similar.
