Master Scheduler (Small Modular Reactors) - Houston or Remote w/travel to Houston

Exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge clean energy organization that is at the forefront of Small Modular Reactor nuclear technology!  SMR’s are the next generation for nuclear power because they will have lower upfront costs, factory-built components for quicker construction, increased flexibility for diverse applications and locations, and potential for enhanced safety through passive systems.  This company will be one of the first to build a SMR. 

They have joined the Texas Nuclear Alliance as a Founding Member and are expanding their operations in Houston, TX.  As a part of that effort, they are seeking a Master Scheduler to join their team.  This role will require someone local who can work hybrid or be remote and travel to Houston 1 week/month.  Contract position through (at least) the end of 2026.  Compensation based on experience.

Summary:
The master scheduler works in close coordination with the Portfolio Integration Manager, the Director, SMR Product Development, Supply Chain Planners, and Commercial Project Directors to ensure that ongoing product development activities are fully integrated with customer delivery plans via an integrated master schedule.  This position will lead the integration of the existing project development schedule with a standard customer delivery project.  The integrated schedule will inform ongoing project execution, task prioritization, future project planning, cross-project interfaces, what-if scenarios, and long-term resource planning.

Requirements:
A minimum of a B.S. or B.A. degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or Business Administration is required. Minimum of 8 years of full-time working experience in a project planning and scheduling role for large projects ($100M+) is required. Expertise with P6, including Planning, Scheduling, Last Planner, Primavera P6 (mandatory) including EVM, logic revision, man-loading and histograms, resource curves, budget man-hour spreadsheets. Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills,with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities. Strong technical writing skills.  Good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage complex programs/projects with multiple work phases. Ability to pass nuclear industry drug/background check.
Responsibilities: Develop and document the standards and processes for integrated master scheduling with a focus on integration across large programs. Lead the development and management of the Integrated Master Schedule and coordinate with project controls leads to incorporate Program Level Schedules and other external schedules.  Develop and maintain a basis of schedule document. Issue periodic status reports related to program/project progress including critical path analysis, milestone variances, milestone completions, and top-level resource issues. Lead the resolution of issues among various stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.
