Master Scheduler Location: Sterling, VA (100% onsite) Type: Contract-to-hire Pay: $28/hr Clearance: US Citizenship required — must be able to obtain a Secret clearance What You’ll Do: + Coordinate and schedule daily activities for a tight-knit team of 6 across Engineering, Project Management, and Production. + Develop and maintain project schedules, assign tasks, and keep everyone accountable from start to finish. + Lead daily kickoff meetings to review tasks and set priorities for the day. + Track materials from ordering to delivery, ensuring everything arrives right on time. + Create and manage tracking systems for tasks, deadlines, and team progress using Microsoft Office and MS Project (or similar tools). + Communicate with stakeholders to gather and keep project info up to date. + Monitor progress and provide timely updates to leadership. What You Bring: + Proven experience in project coordination, scheduling, operations, or similar roles. + Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite — especially Excel, Outlook, and MS Project. + Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication and people skills. + Bonus if you’ve worked in technical, manufacturing, or production settings. + A sharp eye for details and problem-solving superpowers. Even Better If You Have: + Experience running or participating in daily stand-up or kickoff meetings. + Familiarity with material tracking systems or inventory/project lifecycle management. + Working knowledge of scheduling tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
