TalentWorld is on the hunt for a seasoned Master Planner to join a growing team in the Guelph area. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with deep experience in materials management and production control. You'll play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery, optimizing inventory levels, and maintaining an efficient and responsive production schedule.
Master Planner Responsibilities:
Creates and manages Master Production Schedules across multiple product lines Develops rolling production plans to align with customer demand and business objectives Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams—planning, purchasing, sales, and operations—to keep things running smoothly Ensures accurate order confirmations and supports sales forecasting goals Tracks customer delivery metrics and drives continuous improvement Manages inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods Maintains production control processes in compliance with ISO 9001 and internal QMS standards Master Planner Qualifications: CPIM designation and 5–10 years in production/materials planning Post-secondary education in Materials Management or related field Strong knowledge of ERP systems, production scheduling, and inventory control Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a strong asset Employment Details: Full-time, permanent role Day shift Salary: Competitive, based on experience Health, dental, vision, and life insurance RRSP match and employee education support A collaborative and innovative team environment
