The KRQE Media Group in Albuquerque has an opening for a Master Control Operator and willing to work an overnight shift. The MCO is responsible for the overall on-air look of KRQE, Fox New Mexico, New Mexico's CW and New Mexico 50, ensuring that programming is delivered to viewers without interruption and with high quality.
Prepares syndicated programming, runs commercials breaks during newscasts and high-value network and sports programmingSegments content and clips to the server and then trims and modifies itAccurately checks every aspect of each log in the automation systemVerifies material airing via the program log, research and contacts appropriate source for missing materialMonitors strength, clarity and reliability of incoming and outgoing signals and adjusts equipment as necessary to maintain quality broadcastsSelects sources from which programming will be received, or through which programming will be transmittedReports equipment problems and ensures that repairs are made and makes emergency repairs to equipment when necessary and possibleKeeps all stations in compliance with FCC rules and regulations governing television broadcasters including EAS requirements, closed captioning logs and compliance with the FCC Children’s Television ActPerforms other duties as assigned
