GENERAL SUMMARY

Administer therapeutic massage and bodywork modalities.  Interview patient to determine medical history, condition, desired results and appropriate modality.  Apply selected modality, concentrating on areas of particular discomfort. Monitor patient's responses to treatment and adjust, change or terminate treatment based on feedback.  Document patient information, interview responses, treatments, feedbacks and results.  Maintain therapy area in a clean, safe, and organized state. Order supplies as necessary.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.  New and experienced massage therapists welcome to apply.  Able to provide high quality massage therapy services tailored to the needs of the individual client. - Skilled in Swedish, deep tissue and therapeutic modalities.  Has knowledge of and can perform reflexology.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.  Commitment to ongoing professional development.  Maintain accurate chart records and treatment notes.  Ensure to uphold company standards of service, professionalism, ethics and client confidentiality - Uphold infection control and safety standards.  Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.  Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment.

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
