Chart'sMcCarran, NV locationis currentlyseeking a skilled and detail-oriented Helium Leak Testing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing helium leak testing on vacuum insulated cryogenic storage tanks and trailers. This position requires proficiency in TIG welding and the use of grinders and various hand tools to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. **_What Will You Do?_** - Conduct helium leak testing on vacuum insulated cryogenic storage tanks and trailers to ensure integrity and safety. - Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other materials as required for repair and maintenance of tanks and trailers. - Utilize grinders and hand tools to prepare surfaces and complete welding tasks. - Follow detailed testing procedures and protocols to identify and repair leaks. - Record and report test results, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. - Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure reliable and accurate results. - Adhere to safety standards and protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE and following all safety guidelines. - Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve any issues related to leak testing and welding. - Assist in developing and refining testing procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed. **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** - Work is performed in a workshop or manufacturing environment. - Exposure to noise, fumes, and other hazards associated with welding and industrial testing. - Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. **_Your Experience Should Be..._** - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred. - Proven experience in helium leak testing and TIG welding, particularly with vacuum insulated cryogenic storage tanks and trailers. - Proficiency in using grinders and various hand tools. - Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. - Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to welding and leak testing. - Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces. **_Our Benefits Package..._** - Competitive salary and benefits package - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement plan - Paid time off and holidays - Opportunities for professional development and advancement
