This advanced practice role will integrate clinical expertise with education and quality improvement, directly supporting the expanding pediatric cardiac program. Previous experience as a Neo Pediatric Clinical Educator preferred. Cardiac educator is a plus!

Position Summary
The Respiratory Clinical Specialist (RCS) is an advanced respiratory therapist who assumes the role of preceptor, educator, consultant and researcher. The RCS coordinates the orientation/education process for the staff and community based on current identified needs / changes and by leading the process of continuous quality improvement. He/she functions as a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide advanced respiratory care to patients of all ages (i.e., neonates, infants, pediatric patients, and adults), depending on the scope of the facility. The RCS assumes an active leadership role under the supervision of the department manager, in the development and competency of Respiratory Care Services. The RCS may work as an advanced therapist depending on workload and needs of the department. In addition, The Respiratory Clinical Specialist ensures that all staff are competency verified, coordinates preceptor activities and supports departmental projects.Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Respiratory Care Preferred Bachelors degree Current RRT credential with National Board of Respiratory Care Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP cards (Based on facility needs) Preferred ACCS Demonstrated leadership skills Minimum five (5) years of progressive clinical experience in intensive care setting including pediatric and neonatal experienceWhy Mary Bridge Children's?

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $82,077.00 - $118,102.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
