Marketplace Project Delivery Manager

What you'll do:

As a Marketplace Project Delivery Manager your key area of responsibility will be planning, executing, and closing multiple Marketplace projects while managing the complete project lifecycle including scope definition, risk management, resource coordination, and performance tracking. You will be responsible for implementing structured change management techniques, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and driving post-project evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with project goals. You will need to work closely with cross-functional teams, Partners, senior management, and various stakeholders across the Marketplace ecosystem to maintain clear communication, ensure project alignment, and deliver successful outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will be a detail-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You should be adaptable to changing technologies and possess the leadership qualities necessary to coordinate diverse teams effectively. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong expertise in project management tools and Agile methodologies, with the ability to develop comprehensive project plans, manage risks proactively, and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget while maintaining high-quality standards across multiple concurrent initiatives.

How you'll make an impact:

Develop and maintain detailed project plans that define responsibilities, establish clear timelines, and provide mechanisms to monitor progress, address issues, and escalate concerns promptly.

Lead end-to-end execution of multiple, process-oriented projects, ensuring seamless transitions from concept through closure with a focus on repeatable workflows and operational efficiency.

Work with key stakeholders to establish project in-scope activities, out-of-scope activities, constraints, and risks prior to project launch, enabling proactive risk mitigation and ensuring alignment before project launch.

Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Serve as the primary point of contact for Partners and senior management, building strong relationships and maintaining alignment through consistent, scheduled updates and feedback loops.

Meet with key stakeholders, including Marketplace Partners, on a fixed cadence to drive project progression.

Implement robust communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and key developments, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

Align resources and expertise across projects and tasks to promote knowledge sharing and operational consistency.

Apply structured change management techniques to effectively assess, verify, and implement changes in scope, schedule, and cost without compromising quality or timelines.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, and within scope. 

Provide timely reports and escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary, ensuring rapid resolution and project continuity.

Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date project documentation to support ongoing operations and future project planning.

Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Marketplace-specific requirements and nuances to anticipate challenges and address Partner concerns.

Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous improvement in project management practices.

What you'll bring to the role:

3-5 years of experience in Project Management/Program Management/Project Delivery.

3-5 years experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.

3-5 years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.

Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent an asset.

Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion. Strong experience establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships.

Strong understanding of or ability to quickly understand the technical aspects relevant to the industry and Marketplace projects. Must stay relevant to technology and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.

Technical competence using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides), JIRA and Salesforce.

Experience with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks effectively.

Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and resource control.

Proven ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.

A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and obstacles.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure project deadlines are met.

Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and guide project teams towards achieving project goals.

Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards to ensure project deliverables meet required specifications. High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

Expertise in managing changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive project documentation and repositories.

Strong negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment on project objectives.

Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies.

Passport required and ability to travel internationally
