Marketplace Manager
Overview

We’re seeking a commercially driven and data-savvy Marketplace Manager to lead the growth and operations of our eCommerce marketplace business in Malaysia. You’ll oversee strategy, execution, and performance across platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and Zalora, driving sales, visibility, and operational excellence. This role involves leading a team member and collaborating cross-functionally with regional teams across digital commerce, marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and finance.

What You'll Do 1. Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute growth strategies across key marketplaces.

Drive platform-specific campaigns, launches, and pricing strategies.

Manage on-platform ad spend and promotional calendar to achieve GMV targets.

2. Marketplace & Enabler Management

Act as the main liaison with marketplaces and third-party enablers.

Guide product launches, promotions, content updates, and campaign approvals.

Ensure compliance with SLAs and review enabler performance for improvement.

3. Performance & Insights

Monitor key metrics (GMV, traffic, conversion, customer satisfaction).

Analyze reports and conduct business reviews with partners and stakeholders.

Translate data into actionable insights and strategies.

4. Content & Campaign Management

Ensure product listings are accurate, optimized, and brand-aligned.

Plan mega campaigns, bundles, and vouchers with platform partners.

Oversee SEO and content quality with enablers.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with supply chain, merchandising, and finance to align stock and sales plans.

Monitor inventory health and share marketplace insights to refine product strategy.

Conduct quarterly warehouse visits for operational reviews.

What You'll Bring to the Table

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).

5+ years in eCommerce/marketplace management, preferably with Shopee, Lazada, or Zalora.

Experience with enablers and marketplace tools.

Strong data analysis and campaign management skills.

Fluent in English and Malay; strong communication and stakeholder management.

Detail-oriented, agile, and results-driven.
