Description:
This position is responsible for product management of Regular Consumer Card products – Platinum Card, Gold Preferred Card and Gold Card, evolving product value propositions with a price-value philosophy and providing differentiated and exclusive customer experience to the premium segments.
Also, this position requires to understand the product value, financials, and customer satisfaction through end-to-end process, collaborating closely with various cross functional teams.
Job responsibilities are:
- Develop marketing plans and programs and/or enhance the products, analyze customer needs, competitive activities and market environment to provide the superior value as competitive in the marketplace.
- Negotiate with external business partners to develop / improve existing product value propositions for the best-in-class products and manage the partnership with the business partners.
- Work closely with card acquisition team and provide marketing supports to acquisition activities.
- Collaborate well with the internal stakeholders such as the call centers, technology, merchant partnership teams, to ensure the superior customer experiences at all customer contact points from end-to-end process aiming the high customer satisfaction.
- Track and monitor marketing investment, other financials, and the products profitability, working with Finance, Risk management, and procurement teams.
- Ensure to follow various company risk control process / guidelines, when implementing / maintaining marketing initiatives.
Qualification:
- Strategic thinking, with ability to drive results and develop winning strategies; not afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Strong business analytical skills and creative thinking to develop new benefits / marketing programs.
- Strong driving results, ability to execute multiple tasks / initiatives, including monitoring and risk control related to benefit management.
- Strong negotiation skills / relationship management skills with internal and external partners
- Experience with B2B relationship management
- Understand AXP and ICS product value/Partner value and incorporate them into concrete proposals to prospective partners.
- Marketing and creative development experience
- Excellent team player - build consensus and proactively support others to drive business as a team.
- Native level Japanese and business level English
