Compensation Range

Hourly: $23.20 - $27.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The Commercial Marketing Specialist II will be responsible for providing marketing support for the Commercial Line of Business. The Marketing Specialist will recommend and implement programs that maintain the LOB’s competitive position within the marketplace. Responsibilities include managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, developing branded content and advertising, coordinating social media, and other types of marketing initiatives to meet business goals. This individual will be managing multiple tasks and projects in a demanding environment and will be responsible for ensuring alignment with set strategies, budgets and deadlines. This role reports to the Brand & Paid Media Manager and works in collaboration with other team members to build brand awareness and consideration for the Commercial LOB.

Must be highly organized and have proven project management skills, excellent verbal/written communications skills. Experience in social media, message planning, and creative development/evaluation is required. Must understand business needs/competitive environment/financial analysis, ROI, profitability, and be able to complete business case justifications. Must know Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understand strategy development, social media and digital platforms, and how to manage creative development as well as understand principles of strategic marketing. Superior vendor management and client relationship-building skills are required.

Essential Functions

Coordinate and implement digital and traditional marketing campaigns with moderate independence

Manage development and execution of brand content, sales materials, and ad assets

Coordinate and deliver on agreed-upon schedule and objectives. This includes timing, vendor management, quality control, Legal and Compliance, integration with internal communications and brand standards with moderate independence.

Develop content and coordinate of social media accounts for the Commercial segment

Implement continuous improvements for marketing processes

Ensure brand consistency and alignment with corporate guidelines

Collaborate with other team members and other areas of the bank to achieve marketing goals

Initiative-taking in finding ways to assist team members and streamline processes.

Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to develop digital marketing content, branding, communications, and/or other marketing initiatives

Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook  

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Mass Media, Advertising, Public Relations, or equivalent combination of education and experience required

3+ years marketing or corporate project management experience required

Financial Services Marketing experience preferred

Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Salesforce CRM, and Sharepoint experience preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $23.20 to $27.00 per hour.
