Creative Marketing Specialist

 

Kinseth Hospitality Companies, a hotel management company located in Coralville, Iowa, is seeking a Creative Marketing Specialist. This position is a full-time graphic design and marketing position that will focus on building brand awareness for and driving traffic to the restaurants and hotels in the Kinseth Hospitality Portfolio.

 

Marketing & Design Tasks

 

Create content that captivates viewers and follows brand guidelines for restaurant social media pages (Facebook, Instagram and & Google My Business).Create and run Facebook advertising.Host weekly marketing calls to discuss marketing projects and initiatives with teams.Work with restaurant staff to build an e-list.Create content, design, and send out marketing emails to subscriber list.Update websites and work to maximize traffic.Design print materials such as menus, table tents, flyers, etc.Work with restaurants to plan fun/out of the box events to build local awareness/help sell tickets.Build and implement a neighborhood marketing strategy targeting the immediate community near the restaurant.Create and take action on a strategy to get the word out to the general population.Work with restaurant managers to plan special promotions such as holiday brunches for Easter, Mother’s Day, etc.Track ROI on promotions/events.Analyze competition and evaluate market data.Create marketing plan timeline and plan out expenses within allotted budget.Create social media content that captivates viewers and follows brand guidelines.Train Restaurant Managers on responding to online reviews.Assist Marketing Manager with any hotel design and social media needs.Assist Marketing Manager with printing and trimming materials in-house for restaurants and hotels (i.e., table tents, flyers, business cards, etc.).

 

Qualifications

 

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs on MAC platform.Experience with MailChimp, Microsoft 365 programs (OneDrive, Sharepoint, Teams) a plus.Basic knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus.Experience with printing process a plus.Experience managing social media pages for business.A self-starter who can stay on task, stay organized and sometimes complete projects with little instruction or short timelines.Experience with marketing and branding.Critical eye and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Ability to think creatively.Capable of meeting deadlines.Eager to share ideas and take criticism.Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.Flexible schedule/availability.
