What you'll be doing
The Digital, Marketing & Communications Business team plays a vital role in supporting the CIBC Private Wealth and CIBC Global Asset Management businesses, empowering you to help make clients’ ambitions a reality by delivering services and products that ensure long-term growth.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content and Production, this role plays a part in enhancing the social media presence of our advisors. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, engaging content designed to meet the unique needs of advisors, while also supporting the daily administration and management of social media platforms. Collaborating closely with your manager and key stakeholders, you will assist in developing strategies that elevate both advisor social media initiatives and the digital presence of key leaders. Your contributions will help strengthen our advisors' online visibility, foster deeper client engagement, and ensure the smooth operation of social media platforms.

How You’ll Succeed
Content Development and Delivery: In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams to assist, create and curate compelling social media content that aligns with the needs of advisors and their target audiences. You will ensure that all content adheres to brand guidelines, compliance standards, and best practices for social media platforms. Additionally, you will support the development of content calendars and scheduling to maintain a consistent and strategic posting cadence, ensuring a cohesive and impactful social media presence.Social Media Platform Support: As part of your responsibilities, you will assist with the daily administration of social media platforms, ensuring smooth operations and timely updates. This includes monitoring platform performance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with technical teams to resolve any disruptions promptly. Additionally, you will stay informed about platform updates, emerging trends, and new features to continuously optimize platform usage and enhance overall effectiveness.Reporting and Analytics: You will support the tracking and analysis of social media performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content and campaigns, ensuring data-driven decision-making. Regular reports will be prepared to highlight key insights, trends, and opportunities for improvement, accompanied by actionable recommendations to enhance engagement and drive results.Advisor Support: In this role, you will support the Advisor Marketing team by acting as a key point of contact for internal consultations and collaborations related to advisor social media initiatives. You will address inquiries and provide guidance on social media best practices, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of training materials and resources designed to help advisors maximize their use of social media platforms. While you will not conduct direct sessions with advisors, you will collaborate with the Advisor Marketing team to tailor content strategies that align with advisors' unique goals and target audiences.Collaboration and Innovation: You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency across all social media initiatives. By actively participating in brainstorming sessions, you will contribute innovative ideas to enhance social media strategies and drive continuous improvement in the effectiveness and impact of campaigns.Who You Are
You have a degree / diploma in marketing, communications, media or related field.You have 2 - 3 years of demonstrated experience working in social media content creation, platform management and analytics management, preferably in the banking or private wealth industry. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.Your influence makes a difference. You know that relationships and networks are essential to success. You work collaboratively with and develop partnerships with colleagues across CIBC including: Wood Gundy, Private Wealth Management, CIBC Global Asset Management and Regulatory/Oversight teams. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.You communicate in meaningful ways. You know how important it is to communicate information in ways that are easily understood. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to effectively support advisors and collaborate with internal teams.You act like an owner.
