Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. As a Marketing Senior Specialist, Brand on our Brand Marketing team, you'll take a leadership role in coordinating initiatives that promote the Cox Automotive brand and our portfolio of 13 brands and strategically engage our clients and the industry through compelling creative approaches. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, driving projects to completion with minimal supervision.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership:
Lead the development and execution of brand marketing strategies that align with Cox Automotive's overall business objectives.
Drive brand consistency across our expansive product portfolio.
Strategically bridge creative concepts with practical business applications.
Translate strategic objectives into compelling visual and written content.
Creative Development:
Lead creative briefings and idea generation.
Master the creative process, brand team role, and strategic rationale.
Independently organize and manage a vast library of digital and physical creative assets.
Distribute assets to internal teams and external partners in appropriate formats.
Lead collaboration with marketing, design, and content teams on asset needs.
Master creative strategy and execution.
Strategically partner with media agencies to deliver creative that supports the media plan.
Drive brand identity across all communication channels.
Lead team members to understand product and brand objectives.
Develop brand assets autonomously or collaboratively.
Strategically evaluate delivery channels for maximum impact.
Project Management:
Lead efficient communications to ensure timely project completion.
Drive project execution for on-time, on-budget delivery.
Provide proactive follow-up and status updates.
Strategically review agency status reports and provide feedback.
Independently develop comprehensive project status reports.
Escalate issues appropriately and anticipate approval timelines.
Strategically review competitive trends and interpret research into actionable insights.
Master internal and external execution processes.
Lead coordination and development of meeting materials and compelling presentations.
Strategically view work through a business lens (products, brand, target, competition).
Lead efforts to build trust and rapport with teammates.
Independently manage vendor onboarding, invoice processing, and budget tracking.
Lead collaboration on research project execution.
Track and execute brand projects supporting our full portfolio.
Marketing Program Support:
Lead marketing program, promotion, and campaign efforts for assigned products and/or lines of business.
Collaborate with Brand, Channel, Creative, Digital, and other Marketing team members to develop communications content that clearly conveys intended messaging.
Engage cross-functionally to ensure communications are developed and organized by audience and capable of being delivered in various formats.
Develop marketing content and programs for multi-faceted and multichannel delivery.
Work cross-functionally to ensure program/campaign objectives are understood, milestones achieved, and adjustments made based on feedback and/or leadership direction.
Provide input into campaign program plans, including development of performance forecasts, data requirements, key success metrics, reporting schedule, and report templates.
Utilize standard campaign methodology and metrics to track marketing efforts and drive program results throughout the quarter/year.
Collect, analyze, and report on data measuring Marketing’s performance.
Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed to support marketing initiatives.

Who You Are:
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 4 years of creative experience working in-house or agency, following brand standards across multiple marketing channels. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field
Well-organized and detail oriented.
Possess exceptional communication and writing skills.
Combine commercial awareness with creative thinking.
Excel at project management and organization.
Experience working with creative teams or agencies.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in PowerPoint.
Passionate about creative development.

Experienced with social media platforms.

Preferred:
Degree in marketing, Journalism, Visual Communication, Public Relations, Media Arts, or related field.
