Marketing Science Analyst

We’re looking for a Marketing Science Analyst to join our Calgary team in a hybrid capacity. While some flexibility exists, this is not a remote role—you’ll need to be based in the Calgary area and available for regular in-office collaboration.

This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience (including internships) who is naturally curious and motivated by the challenge of turning marketing data into actionable insights. You enjoy building dashboards, writing SQL queries, and applying analytical thinking to solve problems.

You'll support a range of analytics initiatives across reporting, data engineering, and foundational data science, working closely with team members to deliver impactful work for our clients.

You will:

Reporting & Visualization
Build and maintain dashboards, performance reports, and automated visualizations that clearly communicate key marketing insights.

Data Engineering (SQL)
Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data. Assist with data pipeline support and ensure data quality and consistency.

Data Science (Foundational)
Apply basic statistical methods (e.g., trend analysis, regression, A/B testing) to uncover patterns and measure campaign effectiveness.

Client & Team Collaboration
Contribute to regular reporting cycles, deliver presentations, and support insight generation alongside internal stakeholders. Assist with ad hoc client requests.

Marketing Data Operations
Gather and manage data from third-party marketing platforms, ensuring accuracy and adherence to data governance best practices.

You have:

2–3 years of analytics experience, including internships, ideally within marketing, digital media, or business intelligence

A Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, economics, computer science, business analytics)

Proficiency in SQL with experience querying and managing structured datasets

Familiarity with dashboarding/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.)

Comfort with statistical concepts such as A/B testing, forecasting, and data exploration

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to clearly communicate findings

Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and collaborative mindset

Located in Calgary and able to work on-site regularly as part of a hybrid model (fully remote is not an option)
