EA SPORTS is looking for a Marketing Partnerships Manager to lead daily relationships and go-to-market strategies with our NFL club partners for the Madden franchise. You will report to the Senior Manager, Brand Partnerships.
You'll develop integrated marketing strategies, leading high-impact club activations, and managing our relationships across NFL clubs. You'll work with our Madden Franchise Marketing team and across our broader Publishing organization to deliver campaigns that drive: 1) Brand awareness, 2) Product consideration, 3) Acquisition, 4) Brand engagement and 5) Commercial growth
Responsibilities
Develop holistic GTM strategies: Collaborate across Franchise Marketing, Publishing, and Studio teams to create and present go-to-market plans featuring NFL clubs.
Lead NFL club activations: Create integrated marketing campaigns that bring the Madden brand to life through NFL club channels, aligning with important franchise and sport moments.
Develop lasting partnerships: Cultivate meaningful connections across the football landscape, serving as a trusted liaison between clubs and the Madden brand.
Provide in-market football insights: Deliver relevant, real-time intel to our teams (Marketing, Business Affairs, Development, Commercial) to inform strategies and executions.
Oversee negotiations and budgets: Manage agreements and ensure consistency in deal structures and payments in partnership with franchise leadership.
Measure and report performance: Create a clear partnership measurement framework to track KPIs, evaluate performance, and optimize for success.
Deliverables
Annual Club Activation Plan: Manage the strategy and execution of the yearly partnership plan for NFL clubs.
Creative Asset Oversight: Collaborate with internal creative and production teams to develop, review, and approve all partner-facing content and assets.
Lead the Football Conversation: Deliver premium, culturally resonant content and activations that position Madden at the center of football culture.
Unlock Real-Time Opportunities: Identify and activate partnership moments that create mutual value for EA SPORTS, NFL clubs, and their extended networks.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in marketing and partnerships, in sports, entertainment, or gaming
Experience collaborating with matrixed teams to inform and execute strategy
Experience writing campaign and content briefs for internal/external teams
Familiarity with co-promotional contracts and partnership agreements
Strong communication and problem-solving skills; comfortable managing ambiguity
Knowledge of football and cultural relevance of the NFL
Experience in gaming or related fields (sports, media, entertainment) is a plus
