Marketing - Paid Media Specialist

We are expanding our global paid media team to strengthen our ability to connect with customers at scale. We are looking for an enthusiastic Paid Media Specialist to create and manage global digital advertising campaigns that connect with engineers, researchers and scientists. We are expanding our US -based team to include team members in Mexico City to plan, execute and report on global paid media plans. You’ll play a key role in introducing Emerson’s NI brand of products to Test and Measurement engineers as well as be one of the first members of our global marketing function to be based in Mexico City. The paid media plans are the top driver of generating new contacts, elevating brand visibility and helping customers and prospects engage with key content through strategic media planning and performance optimization.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

You will lead a portion of the planning and execution of global paid media campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, LinkedIn, and content syndication. Your work will directly support product launches, distribution of technical content, and overall engagement with our customers that drive brand affinity for our hardware and software. This includes:

Developing and executing paid media strategies tailored to technical audiences that balance global efficiencies and local market nuances. Managing campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, content syndication partners, and programmatic/engineering media (global and Americas coverage). Optimizing campaigns through A/B testing, bid adjustments, and creative iteration. Analyzing campaign performance and delivering actionable insights and reports. Staying current on digital advertising trends and platform updates including how media is used in different markets globally. Serving as a cultural and strategic leader in our Mexico City office by establishing a local presence for the Test & Measurement business unit and NI-branded products. Fostering collaboration with the global marketing team and across Emerson business units to build a strong, connected culture.

Comfortable working in a technical B2B environment and communicating with engineers and you acquire data from multiple and diverse sources when solving problems and work to uncover root causes to difficult problems. Curious, analytical, and always looking for ways to improve campaign outcomes and you readily can propose future scenarios. You push yourself and others to achieve results and have a strong track record of exceeding goals successfully. 

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

5+ years of experience in paid media or digital advertising, preferably in B2B or technical industries. Proficiency in Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, DV360, Salesforce). Strong understanding of the engineering buyer journey and long sales cycles and/or experience with global brands that need to balance reach and impact. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Business-level proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Experience marketing to engineers, R&D teams, or technical procurement roles. Familiarity with advertising with Engineering platforms (IEEE, EETimes, EDN etc). Google Ads and LinkedIn certifications. Experience with marketing automation and CRM integration. Our Culture & Commitment to You:
