Marketing & Media Manager, Amazon Music
Description We are seeking an experienced Media & Digital marketing manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our full-funnel marketing efforts across India for Amazon Music. This role requires a deep understanding of the Indian media landscape, the ability to balance brand-building and performance goals, and a test-and-learn mindset to maximize efficiency and impact. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader who thrives in ambiguity and can build strong partnerships with internal teams, global stakeholders, and external media partners. Key job responsibilities Media Strategy & Planning: • Develop and execute full-funnel media strategies covering top-of-funnel brand building, mid-funnel engagement, and lower-funnel conversion tactics. • Align media plans with business objectives, consumer insights, and campaign KPIs. • Continuously evaluate media mix effectiveness and recommend optimizations to maximize ROI. Media Buying & Optimization: • Lead media buying across ATL channels that could vary from mass media to cohort led platforms. • Ensure efficient investment allocation, negotiating maximum value and savings from media partners and agencies. • Monitor in-flight campaign performance and apply real-time optimizations to drive results. Test, Learn & Innovate: • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and new ad formats in the India market. • Pilot new media channels, creative formats, and measurement approaches to improve impact and efficiency. • Leverage data, analytics, and market intelligence to drive evidence-based decision-making. Agency & Vendor Management: • Lead the relationship with media agencies, ensuring strong collaboration, high-quality delivery, and maximum commercial value. • Set clear expectations, provide strategic direction, and manage agency output against KPIs. • Build partnerships with key media owners to unlock exclusive opportunities. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: • Partner closely with brand, creative, performance marketing, and analytics teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns. • Work in close alignment with global media and marketing teams, adapting playbooks to the India market context. • Lead through ambiguity, making confident decisions in fast-changing situations. Basic Qualifications - 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience communicating results to senior leadership - Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data Preferred Qualifications - Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights - Experience with Salesforce and Tableau Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
