Your Role
A Marketing Manager is the key producer of materials that support Gensler’s direct business development efforts. They work under the direction of senior design staff and a regional marketing leader to write, design and produce proposals, presentations and other material used to help the firm win work and also support the general activities of the office/regional marketing studio such as awards, PR, information management, etc.
What You Will Do
Working with senior design staff to produce proposals, presentations; research, design, write and produce marketing materialsCo-lead strategy/kickoff meetings with regional marketing leader and BD championsConcept/write/design new material as needed to support marketing programsConduct internal and external research on new opportunities, prospective clients and practice areasCreate pitch strategy/budget with BD champion including research, network mapping, tasks/milestones, reviewsResearch targets, internal relationships, company history, market position; ensure client or 3rd party Q&A and site visitsDevelop new materials as needed to support business development activitiesOther responsibilities as assignedYour Qualifications
3-4 years managerial level of professional experience in a marketing position, preferably for a design or professional services firmFluent in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English (both speaking and writing/reading)Experience managing significant marketing projects independently, working closely with senior staff on business development opportunities, and managing small employee teamsExcellent communication, writing, conceptual design skillsHigh level of competency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office programsGraphic design ability and highly competent with key software: Adobe Creative Suite or comparable, Microsoft Office; experience with video and/or digital media/software a plusPrefer to have CRM system like sales force experience before.Life at Gensler
