CMTA is seeking a **Marketing Manager** to join our dynamic team in **Fairfax, VA** . This individual will be instrumental in developing strategy and executing marketing materials that communicate the cutting-edge engineering solutions our company provides to the A/E/C industry in the Virginia market and nationally. We’re looking for a strong communicator and skilled writer who can collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical solutions into persuasive, client-focused narratives. While this role centers on proposal strategy and writing, basic graphic design skills are also preferred to support the creation of visually engaging, branded proposal materials and presentations. **Responsibilities:** + Prepare responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for qualifications (RFQs) by collaborating with technical engineering teams. + Manage the full proposal lifecycle, including content planning, drafting, editing, formatting, and final production. + Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and marketing team members to gather input and tailor content to specific client needs. + Maintain and update marketing collateral such as project descriptions, resumes, and boilerplate content. + Assist in the creation of presentations, interview materials, and award submissions, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging. + Support light graphic design needs (charts, infographics, layouts) using Adobe Creative Suite to enhance the written content. + Track proposal deadlines and ensure timely and compliant submission of all materials. **Qualifications:** + Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; formal training in graphic design is a plus. + 5+ Years of proven experience in marketing and/or business development in the A/E/C industry. + Proven ability to write and edit complex, technical information into clear, compelling narratives. + Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under deadlines. + Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. + Experience working in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment. **Preferred Skills:** + Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop + Experience with CRM systems or digital asset management platforms + Understanding of proposal best practices (APMP or SMPS methodologies) **What We’re Looking For:** + A detail-oriented communicator who can balance creativity with accuracy + A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment + Someone who is curious, collaborative, and passionate about impactful storytelling We are unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this position. \#LI-OS1 #LI-Onsite **About Legence** Legence, a _Blackstone Portfolio Company_ , is North America’s leading, integrated provider of energy efficiency and sustainability solutions for the built environment.
