A strategic, commercially astute marketing manager who is responsible for shaping and implementing the Amarula as well as the total Spirits category agenda for the HBI business unit. Focusing on strengthening the Global footprint of the Amarula brand; driving brand power as well as share gains in the key priority markets as part of the HBI Global Expansion Strategy.
In addition, be the custodian of the Spirits portfolio (and manage its profitable growth beyond the African continent through identified white space opportunities revenue margin growth and price pack effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Utilizing local and global insights, shape the Amarula and Spirits roll-out strategy for global growth expansion. Focused and consistent engagement, with the Amarula Global Lead, to shape the Execution plan for all international markets within scope (Africa; Americas; LATAM; Europe: GTR; APAC) Providing input into the Amarula Innovation pipeline to ensure market relevance for all global markets. Oversee the execution of the Global Digital plan for all markets in scope. As custodian of HB Spirits, consistent engagement with the Spirits Lead to ensure compliance and alignment. CMI Pricing Strategy: Develop pricing strategies, in conjunction with HBI RMG, that optimise sustainable revenue and profitability across the various OpCos. Mix and Margin Management: Analyse product mix and margin performance to identify areas for improvement (ensuring a full value chain assessment of different categories and the full P&L impact of pack, product and category mix). Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with OpCos, including finance, sales, marketing, and operations, to align revenue management strategies with overall business goals. Collaborate with global and regional trade channel partners in deployment of trade marketing strategies. Enforce guardrails for channel-specific trade promotions and activations.
