Location: New York, NYJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $35 - 40 per hourOur client's Central Marketing team is seeking a highly analytical Marketing Manager to drive the growth strategy and execution for paid growth channels (Display & Video) across our international streaming businesses. You'll play a crucial role in achieving subscriber acquisition, revenue targets, and optimizing overall acquisition costs for a leading global media and entertainment company.This role is part of the central User Acquisition Team and will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of Paid Social and Display, as well as local user acquisition teams across 7+ international markets.What You'll Be Working On:You'll be instrumental in expanding our streaming audience globally by owning and executing sophisticated programmatic media buying strategies. This involves direct campaign management on various Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), ensuring our paid growth efforts are not just widespread but deeply rooted in ROI-focused performance. You'll be a key driver in how we connect with billions of people worldwide through compelling entertainment content.Responsibilities:
Lead Programmatic Planning & Media Buying: Assist in leading and optimizing programmatic planning and media-buying across all territories, ensuring high growth and strong ROI focus.
Programmatic Strategy & Performance Ownership: Assist in owning the strategy and performance of all programmatic activities, with full operational responsibility for execution.
Direct Campaign Execution: Directly program and execute campaigns across multiple platforms and DSPs, including Google DV360, AmazonDSP, and any newly onboarded platforms, to expand our user base.
Strategic Growth & Optimization: Develop, manage, innovate, and lead strategies focused on user acquisition, maximizing efficiencies across channels, partners, and platforms.
Performance Analysis & Reporting: Own and present key performance metrics to leadership, focusing on customer acquisition, cost per new customer, and other critical ROI indicators, utilizing data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
Programmatic Expertise: Minimum 3-5 years of experience with a proven track record as a programmatic trader/specialist or in a similar role. You must have a deep understanding of the programmatic. landscape, with hands-on experience in planning and buying self-serve programmatic through DV360 and Amazon DSP. Experience with other demand-side platforms is also required.
Data Analysis Proficiency: Comfort and experience with analyzing and manipulating data using Excel Pivot Tables or Tableau to conduct campaign analysis and provide high-level decision recommendations.
Publisher Deal Sourcing: Ability to research, strategize, and source 3rd party publisher deals within DSPs, and experience setting up Programmatic Guaranteed (PG), Private Marketplace (PMP), and Preferred deals.
Ad Server Knowledge: Familiarity with Ad servers such as Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) and experience trafficking multiple media tags through a variety of publishers.
Creative Tag Development: A deep understanding of creative tag development, including tracking, attribution, ad fraud, and cookie windows.
Direct Response Campaign Experience: Proven experience with direct response campaigns, including attribution, conversion tracking, and optimizing toward strict KPI goals.
Educational Background: A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a related field is required.
Skills:
Knowledge of the TV/streaming business.
An avid consumer of entertainment content with a genuine interest in the industry.
International market experience.
Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams across Product, Marketing, BI, Creative, and Content.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
