**Responsibilities**
• Develop and execute the annual marketing plan which supports the strategic growth priorities for the region in partnership with the Sales and Business Unit management teams driving solid focus on ROI, strengthening Tektronix brand, and accelerating customer decision making/buying process.
• Design and define the marketing campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with Sales, and ensure these goals are met.
• Leverage channel partners to create and execute demand creation programs to drive new opportunities into the pipeline.
• Work closely with Asia Pacific, Global and local teams to bring campaigns to life. Drive alignment and consistency of brand messaging through all programs, channels, and media.
• Monitor and control implementation of the marketing plan and ensure adherence to budget (Opex & Capex). Perform ROI analysis on all online, offline campaigns and events.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the local Field marketing organization.
• Build strong working relationships with 3rd party event organizers, channel partners, digital marketing agencies and media to identify relevant opportunities for driving brand awareness and lead generation.
• Partner with wider AP marketing team to ensure alignment of initiatives which will drive meaningful business impact for the region.
• Part of Asia Pacific Marketing leadership and be involved in key initiatives for Asia Pacific marketing team as defined.
**Qualifications**
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing / Business Management or equivalent
• 6 to 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, management role will be a plus
• Automotive, Semiconductor or energy related background will be preferred
• Business partnering capability to get alignment with sales organization on marketing plan
• Strong collaboration, influencing and negotiations skills
• Ability to navigate and resolve complex situations involving multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced planning and organization capabilities for timely execution of priorities.
• Able to balance between providing strategic oversight and hands-on execution
• Good communication skills in both English and Japanese (Listening, verbal and written).
• In relation to the above, communication in Japanese is essential to proactively learn together about the Japanese industry, technological changes, and product advantages.
