The Manager of Marketing’s core accountability is to support the Dewatering growth strategy with a strategic marketing plan to drive demand generation and execute multi-channel campaigns in order to generate leads, build brand equity, and support business growth goals. In this hands-on role, the Manager of Marketing will collaborate with sales leaders, operations leaders, vertical market leaders, business developers, and product managers to create and execute a comprehensive marketing plan. **CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Partner and align with assigned sales organizations and verticals to develop strategic marketing plans, deliver marketing qualified leads to sales, and provide support in meeting their growth objectives. + Manage all marketing activities and events, including demand generation, thought leadership initiatives, brand building, and measurement. + Support voice of the customer research & apply results; develop customer personas, understand customer journeys + Partner with segment growth marketers, enterprise communications, internal communications, and relevant Subject Matter Experts to support the growth plan as required + Identify and manage external relationships including vendors and consultants as needed to support growth plan + Manage assigned budget and develop reporting related to marketing impact + Develop and share best practices in marketing excellence **Key Performance Indicators** + On-time delivery of marketing plan for assigned verticals + Management of assigned budget + Achievement of goal MQLs & SQLs **Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes** The ideal candidate for this position will have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes: + In-depth understanding of marketing strategy, messaging, communications, and PR + Ability to design and deliver marketing strategies and multi-channel campaigns that drive MQLs and influence brand awareness + Ability to quickly gain an advanced understanding of customer profile and journey for assigned market verticals + Ability to quickly gain knowledge of the Dewatering and fuller Water Solutions & Services portfolio, with the ability to convert complex value propositions into understandable marketplace messaging + Ability to influence cross-functional work partners & Subject Matter Experts to support growth plan + Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands + Excellent stakeholder management skills; an ability to leverage Xylem’s large internal network + Self-starter; able to drive work plans with limited direction when necessary + Strong organizational and time management skills + Experience and comfort working with senior level leaders + Professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Entrepreneurial spirit; open to new ideas, innovative, and able to be flexible and work with a high degree of ambiguity when necessary + Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time, with occasional international travel **QUALIFICATIONS:** + 5+ years of experience developing and executing marketing strategies in a highly complex, matrixed work environment + BA/BS in Marketing or Communications, MBA preferred The estimated salary range for this position is $90,00 to $145,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
