Overview The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Job Summary: • Manage four key support stakeholders (design agency, PR agency, review responses company, and Marriott Field Marketing), collaborating effectively with in-house teams and briefing agencies, ensuring synergy and messaging consistency across all outputs. • Represent the property at media trade shows when required. Plan and organize annual sales and PR FAM trips on property. • Planning and management of multi-million dollar sales and marketing budget. • Management of our 5-person sales team's annual travel calendar, travel budget, and all collateral tools needed to sell the resort effectively. • Marketing strategy for all customer segments including corporate group, leisure transient, wedding, F&B, and Spa. • Planning and implementing all local marketing campaign elements including email marketing, broadcast, online, and print. • Regular collaboration with key stakeholders including The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, Cayman Airways, and on-island suppliers. • Coordinating property photo and video shoots - sourcing suppliers, briefing suppliers and collaborating with in-house teams. • Creating style guides for collateral and managing templates for offline and digital pieces. Maintain digital asset libraries. • Maintain excellent working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, both locally and internationally. • Manage local and international sponsorships and partnerships with an objective of enhancing corporate social responsibility image. • Lead crisis communications in the event of natural disasters or similar. Pertaining to all internal and external messaging. Duties include: Assists in the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing Communications Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue generating areas. This includes website, email, mobile, social, print, broadcast, on-property brand experience, external business- partner activations, and more. Ensures that Marketing Communications activities are aligned with the Corporate/ Regional Marketing Strategy, and the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate. Attends regular departmental marketing communications meetings and ensure departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary. To monitor and manage Hotel Guest feedback, complaints, views, etc. posted on websites, print or electronic media or any other available communication channels, and generate an analysis/ report on the same to provide relevant information to the respective department head and the general manager. To deliver the brand promise and provide personal, instinctive, renewal and professional guest service at all times. Ensures that Marketing Communications associates provide excellent service to external customers, as well as internal customers in other departments. To support in ensuring the minimum benchmark scores of the Brand Health Audit are achieved, and in analyzing the results of the Brand Health Audit, and to assist in preparing and implementing appropriate action plans, to constantly improve the results Year on Year. Assists with establishing annual marketing communications budgets, including above the line advertising, public relations, sales promotions and publicity that will form part of the hotel’s business plan. Maintains complete records of all media and purchase agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel. With the DOSM, establishes an annual and fully integrated communications program with measurable objectives, strategies and action steps. Measures, interprets, prioritizes and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing communications activities through an ROI analysis and adjust as necessary. Support the brand pillars of Westin in all approaches. Ensures that all hotel advertising and collateral are of consistent high standards Establish annual e-commerce plan with DOSM, DORM, and Field Marketing Manager to support overall hotel marketing goals. Manage content updates of all hotel sites including property brand page, independent website, and in particular the Special Offers Page and all photography. Marketing communications for all online marketing promotions and ensure compliance of brand standards. Responsible for driving email strategy for the hotel as well handling email campaigns in line with brand and privacy standards as well as hotel marketing and promotion plan. Assist DOSM with coordination of photo/video shoots and photo gallery development and video as relevant throughout the year Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree preferred. Degree in Marketing & Communications preferred Preferred minimum 3 years of relevant experience Strong skills in optimizing digital and social platforms Creative and persuasive communication skills, verbal and written Ability to manage multiple projects and quickly adapt to changing day-to-day priorities Photography/videography experience including editing a plus Must possess strong Microsoft Office skill (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) Team player with strong interpersonal skills Potential to develop into a leader, motivate and develop associates Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $75.00/Yr. - $85.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
