Overview

The Marketing Manager of Events coordinates and implements select marketing programs, including company participation in key industry trade shows and local and regional events. This role also supports internal meetings and events, managing budgets, vendors, and promotional items, while contributing to broader marketing initiatives.

 

Required: 3-5 years of experience in events, marketing, or a related field, with project management experience.

Travel: 20-30%

Location: The preference is Louisville, KY

Schedule: Must be flexible. This position will involve some weekends

Responsibilities Coordinates all aspects of company participation in over 100 key industry trade shows and events, including AHCA/NCAL, Leading Age, Argentum, NADONNA, Point Click Care, and key state trade showsManages digital and print creative for pre- and post-event marketing to drive trafficSecures internal speakers for key events and tradeshowsTracks trade show results, leads, and ensure they are entered into HubSpot and the CRMMonitors and analyze tradeshow performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize ROIGathers competitive intelligence at trade shows and eventsTracks budgets and costs for shows, manage vendors, and maintain inventory of all trade show materialsManages vendor relationships for promotional items and procurement, ensuring all activities stay within budgetDevelops and maintain external vendor relationships, including hotels, speakers, meeting materials, decorating companies, audio-visual services, food and beverage providers, and speaker bureausWorks closely with sales and account management teams to ensure successful event executionCollaborates on email marketing strategy tied to tradeshows and events, including planning and execution of pre-event promotions, on-site communications, and post-event follow-up campaignsCollaborates cross-functionally with pharmacy operations, account management, sales, and clinical teamsProvides administrative support for marketing projects, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and preparing reportsProvides marketing support as needed for campaigns, digital support, and planningImplements processes to gather and update competitor information in the company CRM systemManages external engagement initiatives, including charitable contributions, sponsorship opportunities, and leadership events to enhance brand reputation and community presencePrepares annual budgets and monthly forecasts for all marketing programsPerforms other duties as assigned to achieve company goals and objectives, including webinar program support, campaign management, and marketing operations support Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field requiredMaster’s degree in a business-related concentration desired3-5 years of experience in events, marketing, or a related field, with project management experience requiredDemonstrated ability to budget and forecast requiredPrevious experience in a marketing role at a nationwide company, preferably in healthcare desiredTravel requirements: Approximately 30-35 days annually for event coordinationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholdersHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize accordinglyProficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, CRM applications (e.g., HubSpot), and budget management softwareExperience with content creation, social media management, email marketing, and campaign executionAbility to analyze marketing performance metrics and optimize campaignsWork independently without regular supervision, aiming to exceed expectationsThrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are criticalManage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlinesPreferred knowledge of HubSpot

**To perform this role will require frequently sitting. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull 1-50 lbs. The percentage of travel requirement will be 0-25%**
