This role is an exciting opportunity to work with multiple teams across the LIONS Brand, creating, executing and reporting on a number of marketing initiatives throughout the year to attract and retain delegates across our Events, with a focus on Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
In this role your challenge is to innovate the way in which we go-to-market with the Delegates product, driving customer engagement and positive brand perception across our attendee base.
You'll be responsible for delivering the go-to-market strategy for the Cannes Lions delegates, focusing on both new business lead acquisition and customer retention with detailed marketing planning and reporting.
You will join a team of changemakers. The Marketing team’s purpose is to champion change to create the most powerful global creative community and drive growth for the brand.
Key accountabilities
You will be responsible for crafting and executing a year-round marketing strategy and plan for our attendees at Cannes Lions, with support of delegate volume and brand KPIs. This includes targeted marketing to both new and existing delegate audiences in close collaboration with event, customer experience, content and sales teams.
You'll build deep customer understanding to develop insight-led marketing strategies that address clear customer needs, while also creating sales enablement materials and on-site customer-led experiences that strengthen the delegate community.
You'll lead data analysis and regular delegate marketing performance reporting, establishing KPIs with the commercial team and delivering timely campaign reports to all levels of stakeholders across the business.
You'll collaborate with Content, Creative and Video teams to develop compelling speaker and case study marketing, crafting engaging messaging and targeting strategies that build excitement about Cannes Lions among delegates and prospects.
You'll work with the Delegates team to create exceptional customer experiences and community-building activities that foster stronger connections within the Cannes Lions delegate network.
Work closely with Creative, Press and Digital Marketing teams, writing briefs that enable the delivery of a world-class marketing campaign.
You'll collaborate with our regional festival teams and advise on delegate marketing strategy and planning.
You are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusion.
You are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silenced.

QualificationsSkills, experience & qualifications required
Minimum 4-6 years experience in marketing, ideally working on or close to an event
Experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
Experienced briefing internal creative teams or agencies
You excel in stakeholder management, you’re an expert communicator and you’re comfortable setting clear channels of communication and managing expectations across multiple teams
You have demonstrated proficiency in data analytics with strong reporting capabilities to translate complex information into actionable insights.
You’ve got experience in project management and you have a proven track record of delivering work to a deadline, keeping teams regularly updated along the way
You have a proven track record of managing competing priorities, and driving campaigns with clear project plans and regular communication
You’re familiar with the creative communications industry
