What is the opportunity?
The Commercial Banking marketing team is seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to support the transformational growth across the RBC Commercial Banking business.
In this role you will work closely with a highly specialized cross-functional team of marketers and senior business partners to lead and implement marketing initiatives to drive acquisition, growth and retention. Additionally, this role will be responsible for ongoing campaign performance reporting that captures key learnings, ongoing optimization opportunities and future recommendations.
This person thrives in fast paced environments and is comfortable respectfully challenging the status quo. This marketer will display leadership across functional teams and have the ability to effortlessly navigate a highly matrixed organization to deliver results.
What will you do?
Lead cross-functional working teams to develop critical operational communications to business clients and support the planning and development of targeted and mass acquisition campaignsLead the development of communication strategy, effective creative & media briefs, evaluation and execution of plans, and stewardship of the brand across initiativesAlign all parts of the communication mix to the communication strategy, ensuring a focus on client and business objectives, bringing strategic integration across go-to-market plansCollaborate with internal and external partners to drive integrated planning, oversee end-to-end campaign strategy/execution and reporting, and foster a test and learn approach on marketing campaignsEnsure disciplined KPI establishment, measurement and analyses to enable strategic conversations, and fuel insights and future marketing plansEmploy continuous improvement mindset and identify opportunities and recommendations for improvement and growth within the overall strategy and initiatives.Oversee end-to-end management of internal and external marketing budgets, including monthly re-forecasting, tracking, reconciliation, stakeholder updatesWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
University Degree; Marketing or Communications5+ years of marketing experience; with at least 2+ years in a strategic capacityMetrics-driven and results-tracking mindset while executing across digital channels including database marketing, digital advertising, email campaigns and relationship marketing.Experience in development and delivery of business cases and creative briefs and managing creative process and timelines.Experience in developing and launching marketing initiatives, which may include social and content marketing strategies, evergreen campaigns and moreStrong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Ability to lead and adapt in ambiguous and rapidly changing business environment situations and effectively influence outcomes/decisionsNice-to-have
