Job Description

The Position

This role is key to the success of the business within the cluster. The objective of this role is to orchestrate pharmaceutical and medical device marketing strategies to maximize financial profit. To enable the alignment of strategies between countries, and to ensure that resource allocation is consistent with strategies and available resources. Transparent collaboration is expected with the sales teams of each country in the cluster, and with all support functions. He/she is also responsible for aligning local strategies with global strategies. To lead teams directly and be a role model in the conduct of business.

Responsibilities

Maximizing and optimizing the P&L of the cluster's product portfolio.

Defining the marketing and sales strategies of the product portfolio for cluster countries, in line with global product strategie.

Allocating and prioritizing promotional resources to activities with the highest economic return within the cluster.

Co-construct access strategies to protect the value of current and future product portfolios.

Integrating Digital and Data in the construction of product strategies to maximize investment efficiency.

The management of its teams to guarantee the highest level of skills and commitment.

Implement a new organization to maximize the potential of the product portfolio through innovative approaches and synergies across the cluster countries.

Federate all sales and support functions to ensure successful execution of strategies.

Contribute actively to the cluster's strategic direction as a member of the cluster's management committee.

Contribute to the evaluation of portfolio development opportunities for the cluster with BD management.

He/she is an ambassador for the Organon brand and culture, based on an entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit, transparency and initiative-taking.

As P&L manager, develops, maximizes and optimizes the profit plan integrating customer plans for the product portfolio.

With the Finance Department, prepares the PP, 5YP, PLR, Budget and submits them for approval.

Defines the resources required to implement the strategic plan, and arbitrates on the allocation of the necessary financial and human resources.

Orchestrates the development and implementation of common and country-specific marketing strategies.

He/she is responsible for federating multi-disciplinary teams around the construction and execution of the brand plan.

He/she consolidates marketing insights based on trends and data to facilitate decision-making, and co-develops market research with the sales operations team, where necessary.

He/she monitors the execution of marketing campaigns and measures their impact.

He/she is a driving force behind the development of our promotional model and the priorities to be followed.

Instills support for digital promotion channels in brand plans and execution

Represents business (including customer) and marketing needs at regional/global meetings.

Ensures compliance of all strategies with country regulations.

Represent Organon to decision makers and KOLs.

Develops professional relationships with stakeholders in the environment (scientific leaders, payers, patients...)

Regularly meets with customers, identifies their needs, potential new customers for his business, communicates their needs and represents the company to national/regional leaders.

Advocates Organon's mission at external events.

With the Access, Communications and Public Affairs Department and the Medical Department, participates in the co-construction of access strategies, and in protecting the value of the product portfolio.

Works closely with market access teams to develop integrated marketing strategies that meet the pricing, reimbursement and market entry challenges specific to each country in the cluster.

Works with market access teams to ensure that marketing materials and initiatives are aligned with access and pricing strategies, maximizing availability and effectiveness.

With all sales and support functions, ensures team buy-in and alignment with defined strategies.

Collaborates actively with each country sales representative to gather needs and align strategies for each country.

Ensures that marketing, sales and financial plans are aligned.

With the Supply Chain, ensures that sales forecasts match inventory supply plans.

Collaborate with cluster BD management and regional and global BD and global franchise teams to identify new product opportunities.

Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product launches and rapid market penetration.

Challenge status quo and promotional model to identify future opportunities.

Monitor and analyze marketing performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations to refine strategies and drive results.

Prepare regular reports and executive summaries for senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.

Responsible for the recruitment and successful integration of employees.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

Scientific and/or business school education (BAC+5/6).

Successful experience in marketing or sales (minimum eight years), and/or proven experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a Marketing/Sales Manager. Experience in the healthcare sector (market access, healthcare environment).

Strategic planning skills (forecasting).

Strategic vision: Anticipate and interpret short- and medium-term changes in the pharmaceutical environment and adapt strategies and resources accordingly.

Rapid decision-making: quickly assess the strategic impact of a decision and take corrective action quickly.
