About the Opportunity

The Marketing Lead for Korea will serve as the primary marketing point of contact locally and will be a generalist across all marketing sub-functions:  Email, Paid Media, Events, and Property Marketing. They will be responsible for implementing local marketing strategies that drive demand, and enhance WeWork's brand presence in Korea. They require a clear understanding of our key target audiences which include: small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), enterprise companies, and commercial real estate brokers. Key responsibilities also include supporting the localisation of creative assets, communication, and management of local design resources.

This role reports directly to the Head of Regional Marketing for EMEA and APAC.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Localisation:

Partner with global functional leads (Email, Events, Paid Media and Property / Product Marketing)  to adapt and localize creative assets and campaigns.

Ensure local execution is optimised for key audiences (SMBs, Brokers, and enterprise companies).

Review local competitors and market trends in office demand. 

Events:

Work closely with the INTL Events team to support local events in Korea.

Help report, measure, and track event performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Build  relationships with key local Sales stakeholders to glean territory-level insights that can inform local marketing campaigns across the mix.

Collaborate with the Sales team to develop promotions that generate leads.

Creative Asset Management:

Localise product and building collateral for Sales use, managing updates on Mindtickle and the Global Collateral Index.

Advise on the localisation of ad materials / platforms for Paid Media campaigns.

Assist in briefing and managing relationships with local agencies, vendors, and partners to support Korean marketing efforts.

Manage copywriter and designer briefs.

Edit, proofread, and translate marketing materials such as building brochures, product collateral, pitch templates, one-pagers, email, social media content, landing pages, and website copy.

Ensure IP and local compliance review.

Own content for the WeWork Korean website and other local channels (Naver, Daum, Kakao, Google, etc.), making any necessary corrections.
 

PR Support:

Work without central PR team on comms, however were applicable, collaborate with a local PR agency for localisation ops. 

About You

At least 5-7 years of experience in sales marketing or product marketing

Proficient English both in verbal and written communication

Self-starter who can operate independently

Proactive and effective communication skills

Problem solver: possessing strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, organization and project planning skills, and demonstrating ability to meet aggressive deadlines

Creative thinker with analytical skill sets

Interests in sales/marketing communications, any former marketing or sales experience is a plus

Good sense in punctuality
