Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aMarketing Events Coordinatorto join the Data, Power & Control Divisionin Canonsburg, PA. The Marketing Events Coordinator will assist in identifying, planning, and managing various projects related to the activities for Trade Shows & Events across the DPC division. These projects include but are not limited to trade shows, webinars, and other customer-related events that the division participates in each year. The Specialist will track spend manage events to budget, and plan product displays to highlight products professionally and clearly. Manage event communications for booth staff and external promotions.
What Will You Do?
+ Responsible for building the Legrand brand and lead funnel by successfully planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows and events, including some speaking engagements.
+ Oversees all vendors needed to execute a trade show: a shipping company, booth storage, printing house, etc.
+ Coordinates booth logistics: booth space, shipments, ordering of booth space requirements, i.e., electric, cleaning, lead retrieval.
+ Manages product and collateral shipments.
+ Packs materials for shipments as needed.
+ Responsible for contracting approved events and coordinating PO and payment.
+ Develops yearly trade show schedule in coordination with sales and product management and within budget.
+ Maintain all project-related tracking documents for updating the product management and sales teams and key executive leaders.
+ Create and implement master event schedule and task deadlines to be met by both the sales leaders and cross-functional teams.
+ Coordinates and communicates with the sales team on all exhibit/sponsor arrangements. – pre-show planning and post-show reports.
+ Develop pre and post-emails with coordination of campaign leads to drive demand at the show and after.
+ Collect and coordinate the timely collection and import of trade show leads to Marketing Automation for sales follow-up.
+ Maintain an inventory list of booths, equipment, and literature; responsible for making sure inventory is always available for events.
+ Coordinates the production and/or reprinting of print collateral and promotional items as needed. This includes packing and shipping of collateral.
+ Maintains the quality of our trade show booth structure.
+ Orders new components as needed.
+ Drives and coordinates the development of graphics with messaging relevant to the event.
+ Supports management by tracking monthly expenses and utilization of budget.
+ Provides yearly ROI reporting.
+ Provide post-mortem reports that compare the events year over year with directions to invest or not invest in future events.
+ Help guide and ensure consistency of corporate image throughout each specific project.
+ Support the business with other tasks as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum of 2 years combined experience in Event Management.
+ Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
+ Exceptional organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
+ Project management and vendor management
+ Extremely organized
+ Desire to learn and consistently improve data for integrity and performance.
+ Team focused.
+ Travel required up to 50%
