Well, then join us as our new Billund-based Marketing Director Lead, Franchises Portfolio! **Core responsibilities** As the Marketing Director Lead, you will be part of our global toy development team, focusing on a portfolio of 2-3 global brick-built LEGO IP franchises. Your role will include: + **Driving Growth and leading change** **:** Elevate your franchise portfolio to boost consumer sales over the next business plan. + **Innovating Portfolios:** Create and inspire innovative product lines that increase desire and purchase intent among target audiences. + **Market Strategies:** Develop and implement innovative Go to Market strategies that connect your LEGO portfolio with the IP fandom + **Power up our collaboration with the IP Partners** and ensure mutual value creation within our brands, our ecosystem and channels. **Leadership across the LEGO group** + Be an active member of the Global Franchise Leadership Team, participating in key meetings and presentations. + Lead and inspire your Marketing team, coordinating goals and outputs. You genuinely care about people and want to foster a culture of trust and empowerment where we succeed together. + Collaborate with internal and external partners to influence product and marketing development. **Collaboration with IP partners** + Strengthen partnerships with IP collaborators to foster innovation and enhance Go to Market strategies. + Apply insights from the IP fandom to inform product development and marketing plans. **Product & marketing development** + Champion insights driven and consumer centric product and marketing development. You are obsessed with getting to know consumers and how we can provide value to them. + Define product assortment strategies with the Lead Team. + Ensure a strong global portfolio by connecting with lead markets. + Oversee the sell-in process and strengthen collaborations with Business Development teams. + Lead communication campaigns and the development of content strategies. **Business leadership** + Embrace calculated risks and drive meaningful innovation. + Influence partners and respond to business performance insights. + Engage with markets to monitor performance and implement global plans. + Lead initiatives to improve our business model and e-commerce strategies. **Play your part in our team succeeding** The Global Marketing Department is responsible for creating and fostering consumer demand for the LEGO Group by converting consumer, shopper and market insights into compelling & innovative product lines, marketing strategies + campaigns. This role lands in the New Business area and will focus on developing our business within new territories. This is a key leadership role within one of our businesses with the highest potential! **Do you have what it takes?** + Strong Product and Marketing Development experience is essential, with additional toy industry experience and knowledge of the videogame fandom being valuable. + You have an intuitive understanding of fandom and how LEGO can authentically connect with kids and their culture. + You understand the toy industry, including development, manufacturing, and distribution, or have a grasp of physical goods businesses. + As a great leader, you excel in managing diverse partners and fostering positive relationships across the organization. + You are open-minded, collaborative, and thrive in flexible, dynamic environments, demonstrating persistence and resilience. + You have a proven track record of driving brand growth, critical thinking, and turning insights into actionable plans. + You have a keen business sense, analytical skills, and excel in communication and presentation. + Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 20 days/year). **Build your career brick by brick at** **the LEGO Group.** Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
