We are looking for a results-driven B2B marketing leader with software/tech experience to join Thomson Reuters as Marketing Director, Japan. In this senior role reporting to the Vice President of Marketing based in Melbourne, you'll collaborate closely with sales leaders and regional specialists to drive demand generation, pipeline influence, and account-based marketing strategies. This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to significantly impact Thomson Reuters' success through your integrated marketing expertise and strong communication skills.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Marketing Director, Japan, you will:

Manage a small local team of experienced Marketing professionals with ownership of marketing KPIs, ensuring the achievement of annual pipeline targets, and marketing attributed sales target in accordance with the sales cycle for each propositionDevelop and deploy sophisticated integrated demand generation campaigns in Japan, leading a small team with a focus on Tax, Corporate and Legal SolutionsBuild enthusiasm and momentum for our marketing initiatives via communicating with and enabling Sales through sales enablement and establishment of target account marketing.Develop and execute plans across a range of marketing mediums including social, marketing automation, events (physical and digital), digital display, and SEM.Be heavily involved in building high-touch TOFU, MOFU and BOFU campaigns for pipeline influence and acceleration.Be accountable for marketing KPIs, ensuring the achievement of annual pipeline targets, and marketing attributed sales target in accordance to the sales cycle for each propositionDevelop strong and effective partnerships with local industry partners, associations and both internal and external stakeholdersWork closely with Strategy, Digital, Operations, Events and Thought Leadership marketing leadership on shaping the strategy, message and content of our outbound marketing efforts.

About You

You are a fit for the Marketing Director, Japan position if you have the following requirements:

Minimum 5 years of senior marketing experience with proven pipeline and revenue growthProven track record in leading teams to deliver on established metrics and KPIsProven track record in managing data-driven marketing campaigns with strong budget management skillsStrong relationship management skills with agencies, stakeholders, and strategic partnersKeenness to stay current with marketing innovations and best practicesEffectively prioritize multiple tasks while communicating persuasively under pressureNative language proficiency in Japanese, business proficiency in English.

Additionally, experience(s) below will be highly considered:

Prior experience in marketing B2B technology products or servicesPrior experience managing Tax, Corporates or Legal portfolios
