The Marketing Development Relationship Specialist II is responsible for managing a portfolio of prospective and current donors within the corporate and foundation space to help achieve department revenue goals. This role focuses on deepening donor engagement through mass communication and outreach, cultivating relationships that inspire generosity and long-term support for the ministry.
What will you do?
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.
Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
Executes tailored fundraising and cultivation activities under the direction of Senior Manager, including targeted email campaigns, that educate, inspire, and strengthen donor relationships, with the goal of revenue and increased engagement with Compassion’s ministry.
Coordinates touches and activities that effectively communicate Compassion’s mission and unique ways that corporate and foundation partners can engage with the ministry
Provides exceptional customer service through written correspondence, phone calls, and other engagement channels.
Advances growth across all giving opportunities and product lines, ensuring accountability for individual revenue goals.
Identifies and nurtures prospects for sponsorships and commitments, contributing to department-wide fundraising objectives.
Maintains accurate donor records and segmentation within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and strategic portfolio oversight.
Tracks engagement activities, analyzes donor trends, and provides data-driven insights to inform fundraising strategies.
Nurtures donors and prospect requests, guiding them toward deeper engagement and greater philanthropic impact.
Collaborates with Senior Manager and corporate and foundation fundraisers to identify potential major gift prospects and support donor pipeline growth.
What do you bring?
Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Three years Relevant experience working in this or a related field.

Will you travel?
Yes, you may be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule.
