Cobbs Creek Foundation (CCF) seeks a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Specialist to manage marketing, communications, and donor engagement for its $180M fundraising campaign and the Cobbs Creek Golf & Education Campus. This full-time role blends brand-building and digital engagement with development operations, donor communications, and event support. Initially focused on campaign support, the role will transition to marketing/communications for the campus once fundraising goals are achieved (target: 2026). Compensation: $75,000 – $82,000
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications – Manage brand, websites, digital platforms, social media, and PR/media. Create content, coordinate campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging across audiences. Development Support – Maintain donor database (CRM), draft communications, assist with proposals, prepare donor reports, and support stewardship efforts. Events – Plan and execute donor and community events, including logistics, vendor management, and communications. Collaboration – Serve as liaison to external marketing/PR partners, Troon Golf, and local stakeholders.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred. 1–3 years’ experience in development, fundraising, or nonprofit communications; CRM experience required. Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills; ability to balance multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Canva/social media experience a plus. Ability to work 5 days per week on-site, with some evenings/weekends for events. Interest in golf or sports philanthropy preferred.
