The PositionMarketing Communications Market Manager
Marketing Communications Market Manager, Roche Diagnostics UK & Ireland Office-based role (Burgess Hill) at least 2 days per week (trips to national/international events or meetings may be required on occasion).
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Market Manager to join the Marketing Communications team at Roche Diagnostics UK & Ireland. You will report directly to the Senior Market Manager and work closely with the wider marketing department, commercial teams and external partners.
The Market Manager is responsible for developing and executing promotional marketing campaigns across various channels and overseeing the delivery of general marketing activities as part of the marketing plan. They ensure consistent brand messaging, manage budgets, manage the various promotional channels, and support the team in achieving marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and performance tracking of high-impact promotional marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Develop and manage tools and trackers, providing visibility into campaign activities, spend, priorities, and outcomes to inform business decisions.
Oversee the creation of engaging, compliant content and ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing platforms.
Mentor and support Marketing Executives and Associates, driving best practices and professional development within the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners and leverage the latest digital tools and channels to optimise campaign effectiveness, compliance, and competitive advantage.
Who are you
You have an advanced level of marketing experience in a similar role. A formal marketing qualification or degree (e.g., CIM) is not essential but would be an advantage, as would knowledge of the healthcare marketing environment.
The successful candidate must be marketing-focused with a strong desire to acquire insights to shape superior customer experiences. Proven delivery of successful marketing campaigns within complex sales environments.
Has strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are dynamic, hardworking and self-reliant with a flexible attitude to challenging situations. With a high level of organisational skills, you have the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to maximise productivity. Your strong influencing skills enable you to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and across all levels of a large organisation. Experience in agile working practices would be an advantage.
Advanced marketing expertise with experience in the diagnostics/healthcare sector.
Proven success managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.
Experience with digital marketing platforms, including web content management systems, email marketing, social media and paid media advertising.
Confident with data analytics and optimising campaign performance across platforms.
Exceptional communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
Collaborative, influential, and able to thrive in cross-functional environments.
