Join us! **Job Description:** This job is responsible for serving as a solution expert and advisor for business banking clients within a market to maximize credit results. Key responsibilities include identifying and analyzing market opportunities to offer/deepen credit with clients and prospects, and advising RMs on credit solutions by providing extensive general industry knowledge, credit expertise, product and process management, sales, and client experience support. The Market Solutions Advisor will join client meetings with the market RMs and MEs, participate in client management process routines focused on driving responsible loan growth and partner with the RM and the credit team closing the deal with the regional and centralized credit partners.The current scope includes supporting Business Banking clients with revenues between $20 – $50 million. **Responsibilities:** + Responsible to help develop and drive market credit strategy as part of the BB market leadership team. + Responsible for identifying and analyzing strategic market opportunities to offer/deepen credit with clients and prospects. + Accountable for advising RMS on credit solutions for by providing extensive general industry knowledge, credit expertise, product and process management, sales, and client experience support. + Maintains and develops relationships with clients with the objective of understanding and helping to address their Credit needs + Evaluate and screen current credit health of the client and appropriately challenge assumptions used in the forecasting provided by the client + When necessary, assist in the negotiation of the terms and conditions of proposed credit facility with the client + Partner with relationship management in subsequent client calling efforts as needed to further assess the credit opportunities, risks, and potential structural considerations **Required Skills:** + Proven track record of executing credit sales strategies that contribute to balance sheet growth + 5+ Years of Commercial Credit and Sales experience with effective client facing sales skills + Ability to communicate effectively throughout the organization and build strong relationships among Relationship Managers, Risk, Credit Partners, Product Partners and Leadership + Strong decision making skills coupled with the ability to communicate rationalization of loan decisions both in verbal and written form + Strong understanding of the end-to-end credit process + Understanding of various specialized credit solutions, and industry specializations along with established partner relationships + Attention to detail, accuracy and overall data quality + Ability to lead effectively and develop and implement strategy, specifically related to credit growth. + Established internal & external network for self-sourcing new credit opportunities. **Desired Skills:** + Minimum of a BA/BS degree required; Finance, Accounting or Economics majors are preferred. **Skills:** + Business Acumen + Collaboration + Credit and Risk Assessment + Problem Solving + Sales Strategy + Business Development + Innovative Thinking + Legal Structures and Legal Forms + Market Analysis + Result Orientation + Client Management + Coaching + Credit Documentation Requirements + Underwriting + Written Communications **Shift:** 1st shift (United States of America) **Hours Per Week:** 40 Bank of America and its affiliates consider for employment and hire qualified candidates without regard to race, religious creed, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, protected veteran or disability status or any factor prohibited by law, and as such affirms in policy and practice to support and promote the concept of equal employment opportunity, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and municipal laws.
