The Risk Management Division independently identifies, analyzes, reports, and escalates market, credit, and operational risks. This role resides within the Market Risk Department, specifically supporting the Stress Testing team’s data management and process monitoring.

You will:
- Work in a team of market risk specialists supporting the production of risk analyses and regulatory reports submitted to the Federal Reserve and other global regulators
- Participate in the production and coordination of regulatory and firmwide reporting
- Automate data collection and reporting processes
- Conduct analysis on data quality issues, key performance indicators and data model gaps
- Design and improve stress testing processes
- Execute data standards, architecture, and requirements for the Market Risk Department
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Technology, and the Front Office
You have:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a related quantitative field
- Interest in handling and analyzing large datasets
- Basic understanding of financial concepts, products, and risk management principles
- Strong Excel skills and experience with data analysis
- Fundamental knowledge of SQL
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- A risk and control mindset
You might also have:
- Experience in a finance or risk function
- Familiarity with market risk and macroeconomic theory
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or VBA
- Basic understanding of the most common BI tools (e.g., PowerBI)
- Understanding of Agile development principles
- Strategic and critical thinking abilities
Team profile:
The Market Risk Stress Testing team is tasked with conducting comprehensive stress tests and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. The team manages data, builds calculation logic, performs analysis, and ensures control processes are in place before regulatory submission. The role requires a balance of technical skills, basic business knowledge, and collaboration with stakeholders in New York and other global offices.
