Responsibilities

Monitor risk management of introduced broker-dealers (“IBD”), Prime Brokers and Direct Clients through programming, reporting and regulatory calculations. Market surveillance for risk monitoring of credit extended under Regulation T and FINRA 4210. Calculate hypothetical portfolios for potential impact to value at risk requirements and the collateral usage at various financial clearing and settlement facilities.

 

Responsibilities:

Daily reporting of all trade activity for the previous dayPrepare daily analysis of NSCC and OCC collateral requirementsGenerate, analyze, and distribute multiple daily risk reportsEffectively evaluate trade failures compared to market riskCalculate firm and customer concentrationsMonitor and escalate risk equity calls relating to portfolio margining under FINRA 4210Prepare reports and documents for senior management meetingsSurvey all market exposure to customer margins and proprietary inventory accountsCreate and program critical data base reportsMonitor intraday market fluctuations for equity deficiencies Qualifications

Required:

Proficiency in Excel

Preferred: 

SQL programming skillsRisk Management experience Knowledge of the securities industry

Education Requirements:
