Workforce Staffing
The Workforce Staffing Candidate Attraction team is a skilled, customer obsessed, recruiting team that owns candidate sourcing across multiple locations for entry-level warehouse and fulfillment associate roles. We are looking for exceptionally talented, bright and driven people to help build the future Amazon talent pipeline.

The Workforce Staffing (WFS) Candidate Attraction team is seeking a Market Response Specialist to drive strategic relationship management and candidate sourcing initiatives across one of four US territories. This role is critical in rapidly deploying solutions to mitigate fill risk for sites across the network through strategic partnerships with community organizations. The primary focus is building and maintaining strategic relationships with workforce development organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations to source candidates for entry-level warehouse roles.

The Market Response Specialist will own both regional and national workforce relationships, with particular emphasis on building networks in specific risk markets. Their core objectives include increasing Associate Day 1 Starts (D1S), driving leads generation for candidate pipeline development, and reducing operational costs through strategic venue sourcing for New Hire Events (NHE). This role requires agility in balancing multiple concurrent projects while swiftly realigning efforts in response to changing business priorities.

Success in this position demands the ability to develop innovative strategies for enhancing partnership impact, implementing strategic pilots, and driving fill rates through creative solutions. The role requires continuous assessment and adjustment of partnership strategies to address evolving fill risk challenges across the network. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are tied to increasing the hourly entry-level talent pipeline, removing obstacles faced by local candidates, reducing paid advertising and recruiting space costs, and meeting Candidate Generation hiring goals.

This position requires exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to maintain composure in fast-moving situations. The ideal candidate must embrace ambiguity, quickly get up to speed on complex issues, anticipate community partner questions/reactions, and formulate thorough messaging strategies that position Amazon as the local employer of choice. Essential skills include consulting, facilitation, influencing, communication, coaching, analysis, risk evaluation, empathy, problem-solving, and high judgment with the ability to use data to make quick, effective decisions.

We roll up our sleeves, work hard, have fun and make history!
