Where we work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position in Mexico City, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
About your skills
B2B & B2C Research Expertise: You have deep experience designing and executing B2B and B2C market research projects, including market sizing, segmentation, and opportunity assessments that drive strategic business decisions.
Strategic Insight Development: You can transform complex market data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations that influence product strategy and market positioning.
Pricing Research Expertise: You bring advanced knowledge of methodologies like conjoint analysis, Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger, and feature value assessments to evaluate and optimize pricing strategies.
Stakeholder Management: You build effective relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and collaborating to deliver insights that create competitive advantages.
About this role
As a Market Researcher focused on B2B and B2C research strategy in Mexico City, you’ll lead research initiatives that inform our market approach and strategic direction. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and corporate strategy teams to deliver insights that drive business growth and enhance our understanding of enterprise customers.
What you’ll be doing
Design and execute quantitative B2B and B2C market research projects from start to finish.
Build relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic insights.
Translate research findings into actionable insights for leadership, shaping product strategy and market positioning.
Manage vendor relationships for large scale research projects.
Develop and maintain enterprise and marketplace facing sentiment tracking programs.
Support and mentor non-researcher colleagues in conducting research initiatives
Research value drivers influencing procurement decisions in target industries.
Analyze variations in buying cycles and industry trends across verticals to assess their impact on sales strategy.
What you’ll have
3+ years of experience in a market research role specializing in B2B research and/or corporate strategy, or a relevant graduate degree with 1-2 years of market research experience.
Expertise in designing and executing quantitative research studies including market sizing, segmentation, and opportunity assessments.
Experience with pricing research methodologies and sentiment tracking research.
Proficiency in conducting qualitative research through in-depth interviews, workshops, and focus groups.
Strong data storytelling and presentation skills to translate market data into actionable recommendations.
Technical proficiency in data visualization, statistical software (SPSS, Stata, R), and survey platforms (Alchemer, Qualtrics).
Advanced Excel/Sheets skills for data analysis.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
