Market Manager, CV/Agriculture/Construction, NA

This is an exciting, high-impact opportunity to help shape the course of one of the world’s leading technology company’s expansion from automotive to other market areas. The company is focusing on accelerating growth in non-automotive, or adjacent markets, including Industrial, Commercial Vehicles, Construction, Agriculture, Commercial Aerospace, Space, and Energy. This role will be responsible for expanding growth into the Commercial Vehicle, Construction, and Agriculture Markets (CV/Con/AG).

Key job responsibilities for this role include:

Build and maintain foundational market analyses outlining the key customers, competitors, products and market size in the CV/Con/AG market space.Track and Improve CV/Con/AG sales, bookings, and profitability trends by customer, market, and product linesLead Sales, Engineering, Product Line, and Distribution teams in prioritizing key CV/Con/AG market opportunitiesCollaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, and Distribution teams in identifying which of our current automotive products best match CV/Con/AG customer needs to promote growthOwn new product / technology roadmap and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, and Distribution teams in evaluating and recommending what additional portfolio/products are needed to increase our sales in CV/Con/AG marketsLead business case development for new product portfolioCollaborate with Corporate Strategy and M&A teams on evaluating and recommending potential inorganic growth opportunities in the CV/Con/AG market spaceDevelop Market models (TAM) including size, growth, and market share – in collaboration with the Corporate Strategy teamDevelop competitor benchmarking including products and market shareScanning and collation of market intelligence (M&A, product launches, new market entrants, footprint investments, etc.)Support material preparation for internal business reviewsProvide coaching, guidance, mentorship to working team members

The ideal candidate will be able to combine highly structured and analytical thinking with sound business judgment and creativity to support our management team and businesses. S/he will bring:

Undergraduate degree in engineering or business related5+ years of experience in areas relevant for our business e.g. products like wire harness and connectors and end markets like Commercial Vehicles, Construction, & AgricultureDemonstrated skills and experience in solving complex business problems – includes structuring the problem, gathering and analyzing data, generating insights and recommendationsStrong communication skills, including the ability to develop polished visuals (PowerPoint) and communicate effectively with senior audiencesGrowth driven hunter mentalityHigh motivation with a track record of strong performance and career progressionExperience in managing teams and developing people
