Market Executive, Healthcare Services, Mid-Corporate Banking & Specialized Industries, Executive Director

As a Market Executive on the Healthcare Services, Mid-Corp Banking team, you will be responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries specializing in Healthcare Services.

The Healthcare Services team is part of J.P. Morgan's Commercial Bank in its Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries group. In this role you will be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships with the world’s most innovative companies. We work both independently and as part of a dynamic team to deliver the entire firm to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Demonstrate the ability to build a brand within your market that represents the Healthcare Services team as the “Leading Middle Market bank serving the best and most diverse clients”Develop new business in your market by acquiring new relationships, evaluating credit opportunities, deepening existing relationships by delivering the entire FirmLead internal strategic discussions with partners across all our solutions including Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Risk Management, and PaymentsChampion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset balanced with the ability to manage risk (credit, operational, and reputational) appropriatelyResearch prospects and participate in ‘discovery’ to determine the banking tools they need to power their businessPut together presentations, in collaboration with VP, ED, and MD partners, to highlight the capabilities that would benefit these prospective clientsParticipate in client presentations via Zoom, or in person once travel resumesLearn how to price our products, and the processes for seeking exceptionsImplement services and pricing in collaboration with support teamsLearn about the healthcare industry and how the healthcare cash conversion cycle is differentBe part of a dynamic and growing team with over 10,000 prospects nationally

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

8+ years of related experienceCredit experience with investor backed companiesStrong understanding of Commercial Banking products and servicesExcellent sales management and business development skillsProficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationshipsStrong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partnersAbility to leverage established relationships within venture capital ecosystem to drive new businessSelf-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things doneWilling to be FINRA licensed (SIE, Series 79, Series 63)

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferredExperience working with Capital Markets and Investment Banking products/services
