Market Engagement Manager Location New York Business Area Marketing and Public Relations Ref # 10043250 **Description & Requirements** At NZDPU, our mission is to provide a trusted, central source of company-level climate data that is transparent and openly accessible to all. Our efforts started in 2022 when the Climate Data Steering Committee published recommendations for the development of a unified, global, open climate data repository. A proof of concept of the Net-Zero Data Public Utility was launched during the UN’s Climate Change Conference (COP28) and is publicly accessible at nzdpu.com. Over the past 2 years, we have focused on building out the proof of concept incorporating historical data across a wide set of company emissions data. As we start to lay out the work for the next few years, we are working to significantly expand the sources of data as we grow the global coverage and access of the platform. As part of the Net-Zero Data Public Utility Team, you will: + Sit at the intersection between Product Management, Business Strategy, and Public Policy. This role will be responsible for developing Go-to-Market strategies and identifying partnership opportunities that aim to expand the uptake and global scale of Net Zero solutions. + Demonstrate a strong understanding of capital markets, the current climate disclosure regulatory environment, and the intersection of climate data with key user workflows. + Utilize strong market experience, detailed knowledge of industry trends, and demonstrated technical skills to build and maintain credible relationships with key users, partners, and stakeholders. + Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistency of information, messaging, and materials that accurately reflect our product and technical underpinnings for dissemination across global actors. + Distil complex research and product-related topics into simple and understandable communication materials, with an aptitude for tailoring messaging to a specific audience. Create documentation and relevant collateral for strategic and policy-related programs. + Develop and establish a roadmap of initiatives to grow adoption of our solutions based off in-depth understanding of markets, tools and workflows that align with product goals. Determine region specific needs and mechanisms to increase global uptake of solutions. Maintain check-in points, and report successes and challenges on these strategies based on self-generated KPIs. + Influence the direction of our solutions by contributing innovative ideas and establishing relationships between NZDPU decisionmakers and key users and partners. + Collaborate with the NZDPU Data Analysis Team to identify important data challenges and generate solutions that can be brought to stakeholders. + Represent the NZDPU at external events and organize meetings and workshops with a variety of public and private sector actors. + Collaborate with the NZDPU Product Manager on the implementation of key user driven product enhancements. + Regularly assess partnership success, adjust approaches based on outcomes, and communicate progress effectively You’ll need to have: + A minimum of 5 years’ experience + Bachelor’s degree or degree-equivalent qualifications + Robust stakeholder and end user-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + Strong ability to analyze market trends, craft strategies, and execute growth plans + In-depth knowledge of current climate disclosure regulations and building and maintaining credible relationships with key users, partners, and stakeholders. + Ability to work with multiple teams, drive objectives, and execute on goals individually + Demonstrated proactive work ethic and a record of meeting hard deadlines on a consistent basis We’d love to see: + Experience with strategic and policy-related programs + Master’s degree Salary Range = 115000 - 175000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
