What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership: Provide leadership in defining, implementing, and integrating quality, safety, service, and efficiency strategies into market plans and policies.
Quality Oversight: Provide leadership oversight and direction to the Market’s quality hospital leaders.
Collaboration & Integration: Collaborate with leaders responsible for centralized services (e.g., Home Health, Living Communities, Physician Enterprise) to develop and implement an integrated, standard approach to quality across the Market’s care continuum.
Performance Improvement: Support the quality and patient safety committee(s) and improvement structure in the market and care sites.
Community Engagement: Serve as a member or quality liaison to community partners and/or Joint Venture partners within the market service area.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collaborate in the establishment of performance improvement goals annually with relevant stakeholders. Develop and implement processes and formats that support data collection, aggregation, analysis, and action planning. Assure clinical data is managed appropriately and disseminated to appropriate leadership staff.
High Reliability: Support the regional Director of Patient Safety with the implementation of high reliability organizational processes within the Market. Facilitate the advancement of High Reliability Organizational work and patient safety efforts.
Regulatory Compliance: Oversee implementation and maintenance of system, regional, and market standards for quality, performance improvement, peer review, and regulatory compliance across the continuum.
Risk Mitigation: Participate in national office and regional initiatives and programs to mitigate risks in the market, resulting in reduced costs, a decrease in adverse patient events/outcomes, and ultimately safer patient practices and care.
Peer Review & Practitioner Evaluation: Collaborate with the Medical Staff and Regional/Organizational Leadership to develop and enhance safe patient care while achieving optimal outcomes, including the Market’s peer review program and ongoing and focused practitioner evaluation.
Reporting & Governance: Provide reporting as directed within the Market to the Community, Fiduciary, Hospital, JOA, and other relevant governance Boards with delegated authority over patient care, quality, and patient safety.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience:**
+ Bachelors of Science Degree or Equivalent in arelated clinical discipline; Master’s degree Preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience withprogressive management responsibility in an acutecare setting including leading quality.
+ Experience leading quality, safety and performanceimprovement initiatives across the care continuumand a integrated delivery network.
+ Experience developing and implementing clinical,service and operational process improvementinitiatives, both small and large scale.
+ Experience in a matrix management environmentinvolving integration of multiple entities is stronglydesired.
**Required Licensure / Certification:**
+ Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) orHealthcare Quality and Management Certification (HCQM),or Certificate of Quality and Patient Safety (CPQPS) isrequired within two years of hire.

**Pay Range**
$59.53 - $86.32 /hour
