IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, is seeking a Global Market Development Specialist to support our Latin America & Emerging Markets. This role will ideally work in a hybrid capacity out of our Corporate Headquarters in Westchester, IL, but we are open to remote work.
The Market Development Specialist will manage relationships with Market Alliances and top assigned accounts to expand business within an assigned territory by adding bidders and increasing account revenue. This role includes international travel to select countries to engage with customers at seminars, trade shows, and industry events. This position reports to the Global Market Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong brand trust in assigned markets to meet or exceed IAA’s buyer growth and retention goals
Conduct regular check-ins and Quarterly Business Reviews with key accounts
Launch Project Based Initiatives (PBIs) with Market Alliances and assigned accounts to promote growth and buyer satisfaction
Perform data analysis to evaluate account performance and identify key focus countries and accounts
Provide market insights to customers to promote growth and engagement
Develop strategic relationships with new and existing buyers, delivering exceptional service
Collaborate with the Buyer Development team and other cross-functional teams
Plan, organize, and attend in-country events, seminars, and conferences to build brand awareness and attract new buyers
Create, translate, and review content for market-specific promotional materials and campaigns
Leverage customer feedback and data to recommend new features, services, or products
Qualifications & Competencies
5+ years of market development experience with a focus on commercial growth
Bi-lingual in Spanish (required)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in data analysis and reporting
Proven ability to identify leads and develop campaigns to engage and convert target audiences
Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
Decisive problem-solver with a customer-first mindset
Familiar with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable with a hybrid work model (remote and office-based)
Willing and able to travel up to 30%
Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
Ability to work independently
Industry experience in insurance or the automotive sector is a plus
Salary Range: $55,000-$75,000
