YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Develops and implements methodologies to evaluate Product and Technical opportunities of assigned crop(s) and determine which opportunities present the greatest potential and should be pursued by the CompanyEnsures that all MD activities are conducted in accordance with global and regional strategiesMaintains an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and market conditions affecting the company Ensures that Product Lines in inventory are appropriate to secure Market opportunities – liaise with Logistics, Production and Research Teams to constantly monitor and address emerging inventory issues in a timely mannerDevelops and maintains close relationships across the Seed, Biotechnology and Chemical Agricultural Industry GroupsEnsures the maintenance of files of technical data and provide advice and information to interested parties within and external to the CompanyProvides participation, support and input in local MD team as well as regional and global crop teams as requiredEvaluates the trials in R & D Station

 

 

WHO YOU ARE:

 

Bachelors degree or aboveRelationships and NetworksA minimum 5 year professional experience in the Vegetable Seed Industry – ideally with a mix of Technical, Sales and Business experiences through that periodThe candidate should be technically competent in the Agricultural and Plant Sciences, particularly in the areas of Biology, Plant Breeding, and Biotechnology – ideally possessing proven skills and experience in the designated crop(s)The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills and be capable of delivering technical presentationsInitiative and Foresight / AgilityThe Market Developer will have a major role in the identification and development of marketing initiatives and should be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of marketing principles and be able to add value to marketing decisions whilst at the same time ensuring continuous product integrityResults OrientationThe candidate should be analytical, able to think strategically and develop strategic plans and ensure that projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets. In addition, the Candidate will need to be able to balance multiple tasks, possess strong time management skills, and priorities their workload independentlyCourage and CandourThe candidate must be sensitive to the concerns created by Biotechnology and be always seen by all parties to possess integrity and honesty in their actions and communicationsLanguageJapanese – native level,  English- business level
