This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that combines data analytics, competitive intelligence, and AI-powered market research to provide strategic insight into where we should go next. You’ll be responsible for building long-range market outlooks and supporting go-to-market decisions for new verticals, technologies, and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Intelligence & Opportunity Discovery

•\tIdentify, research, and analyze emerging markets, industry shifts, and customer trends using tools like IBISWorld, PitchBook, Dodge, ConstructConnect, and Statista.

•\tMonitor economic and industry indicators that influence capital project development cycles (e.g., energy, data centers, utilities, industrials).

•\tGenerate long-range forecasts and multi-year opportunity roadmaps with a 2–3 year strategic foresight window.

AI-Driven Research & Process Automation

•\tLeverage generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to streamline competitive research, summarize reports, and support content creation.

•\tDevelop and refine repeatable, AI-assisted processes to accelerate insight generation and reduce time-to-decision.

Data Analysis & Visualization

•\tBuild and maintain dynamic dashboards and models using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools that support market segmentation, TAM/SAM/SOM sizing, and trend tracking.

•\tTranslate raw data into actionable narratives for executive and commercial stakeholders.

Strategic Collaboration & Reporting

•\tCollaborate cross-functionally with estimating, engineering, marketing, and business development teams to align recommendations with operational and commercial capacity.

•\tDeliver quarterly market outlook reports, strategic briefs, and data-driven recommendations for expansion opportunities.

•\tSupport long-term growth planning by contributing to annual strategy cycles and investment evaluations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile:

•\t3–5+ years of experience in market research, business intelligence, data analytics, or corporate strategy—preferably in B2B, industrial, construction, or energy sectors

•\tDeep proficiency with tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Tableau, plus familiarity with databases like IBISWorld, Statista, or Dodge Construction Central

•\tComfortable using or learning AI research tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate insight generation

•\tStrong analytical and communication skills—you’re as confident building a TAM model as you are presenting it to execs

•\tNaturally curious, structured in thinking, and comfortable operating in high-autonomy, fast-paced environments

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $72.00/hr.
