**Job Summary**
We’re seeking a commercially-minded Market Analyst to join our newly established Pricing Strategy & Deal Operations team. This role is critical in building a robust, data-led view of market dynamics, competitor pricing trends, and internal learnings to support pricing and deal strategy, as well as growth initiatives across SHI’s enterprise business.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in how the business responds to market changes, competitor activity, and customer trends. You'll contribute directly to margin protection, strategic pricing, and win-rate improvement.
**Role Description**
+ Collect, analyze, and report on market pricing trends, competitive positioning, and deal activity across SHI’s business segments.
+ Produce quarterly pricing benchmark reports and strategic market briefings for leadership and sales teams.
+ Maintain a structured competitive pricing repository and historical pricing trend database.
+ Partner with the Pricing Strategy, Bid Management, and Deal Strategy teams to provide timely, actionable insights into RFx responses and strategic deals.
+ Conduct in-depth win/loss analysis by collating commercial intelligence on pricing outcomes and competitor offers in lost or challenged deals.
+ Track and visualize market share movements, pricing position shifts, and vendor pricing strategy changes over time.
+ Support identifying potential risks and opportunities from market shifts affecting margin, competitiveness, or growth strategy execution.

**Skill Level Requirements**
+ 2–4 years’ experience in market research, pricing analysis, sales operations, or commercial strategy roles within the B2B tech, IT reseller, or enterprise services sector.
+ Solid analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and the ability to work with large commercial data sets.
+ Strong commercial awareness and curiosity about enterprise sales, market trends, and competitive positioning.
+ Ability to communicate insights clearly to Sales and Finance leadership audiences.
+ Experience working with pricing, rebate, or incentive program data preferred.
+ Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a newly established, fast-paced team environment.
**Other Requirements**
+ Completed Bachelor's Degree in Economy, Finance, or a related field required
+ Advanced certifications such as CIMA, MBA, or CPA preferred
